  • Discuss with assignee and/or corporate client the needs and expectations for the assignment.

  • Identify individual requirements for the assignment.

Pre-arrival information

  • Provide preliminary information about the Norwegian housing market.

  • Introduce assignee and/or corporate client to what to expect when moving to Norway, including cultural issues.

  • Give assignee access codes for the Client Resources section of the Doorway to Norway web site.

Removal services

  • Establish contact between local international removal companies and the assignee.

  • Inform assignee on customs regulations regarding household goods.

Pet importation

  • Provide necessary information on pet importation to rabies-free Norway.

Pre-assignment trip

  • Arrange hotel reservation and car hire as needed.

  • Meet assignee for orientation tour including introduction to residential areas, Norwegian housing, medical centers, schools, and shopping centers.

  • Discuss details of relocating and answer initial questions.

  • Plan next steps in the relocation assignment.
